GRTU: Association of General Retailers and Traders is Malta's national organisation of independent private businesses. Established in 1948 originally as a shop-owners union, today GRTU represents the widest cross section of proprietor managed enterprises in Malta.

With over 7,000 members GRTU is truly the voice of smaller entrepreneurs. The GRTU's policies are geared towards encouraging and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises within the framework of a functioning advanced market economy.
