GRTU request the intervention of the Malta Resources Authority and the Malta Office for Fair Competition to suspend the increase in the price of Diesel and Kerosene
· GRTU calls for the Intervention of the Office of the Prime Minister
By separate request to the Malta Resources Authority and to the Maltese Office for Fair Competition, GRTU – Malta Chamber of SME’s on behalf of:
garage industries, repair garages, farms, quarries, building contractors, bakeries, confectioners, excavation contractors, commercial and industrial outlets using generators, bottlers, glass blowers, poultry farms, all industrial and commercial outlets using boilers, poultry meat processors and transporters, to issue orders to Enemalta Corporation to suspend the price increase on diesel and kerosene announced on 1st November 2005.
GRTU has also asked the Office of the Prime Minister to call a round table meeting of all authorities involved in the fuel issue effecting transporters and small enterprises using diesel fuel, kerosene, light heating oil and gas oil to agree on an early solution to the claims made by GRTU on behalf of all enterprises effected by the fuel price increase.
GRTU is releasing copies of letters addressed to Malta Resources Authority and Office of Fair Competition
